Raymond “Ray” Adams passed away at home on December 3, 2022.  

Ray graduated from Morton West High School and studied Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Illinois. After graduation he worked as retail pharmacist for 39 years.

Ray is survived by his wife, Barbara; children, Lauren (Ryan) Maus and Peter (Lisette) Clarke; three grandchildren, Ellie, Katie, and Annie (who referred to him as “Ray Ray”); his sister, Sharon Barth; his Frawley and Sarros siblings: and many nieces and nephews. Ray was preceded by his first wife, Judy; parents, Raymond and Isabelle Adams; brother-in-law, Bruce Barth.

Ray was born into a small family but married into two large families who were blessed and thrilled to embrace him. He enjoyed history, golfing, reading, biking and grilling. He had a wickedly dry sense of humor, was generous of spirit, fierce in love, and loyal in friendship. Ray will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Graveside service and inurnment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, Illinois will be planned for Spring 2023.
