Marcy H. Mitty, nee Hracek, was born on April 6, 1954. She lost a 10-year battle with cancer on Oct. 27, 2012. Marcy grew up in Stickney and for the past 20 years, she lived in Aurora. She was a long-time customer service representative for numerous businesses. Marcy was an avid lover of all things Disney as well as Golden Retrievers. She is survived by her two sons, Michael and Randy; her brother, Alan; her beloved friend, David Ort and her mother, Martha. Marcy was predeceased by her father, Otto.
