Edward ''Reverend Michael'' Kowalczyk, age 50, of Ottawa, IL, former longtime resident of Lyons and Vietnam Army Veteran. Loving brother of Diane Kowalczyk (Henry Zelenka); stepfather of Sean (Kathleen) Shea; cherished son of the late Edward J. (late Lottie, nee Chudzik); fond nephew of Phyllis (Joe) Ciombor; cousin of many; hundreds of close friends. 

Mr. Kowalczyk worked for Aurora Postal Services from 1991 to 2004 HVAC maintenance, Brookfield Zoo electrical maintenance and Village of Lyons Public Works. He was a volunteer fireman and E.M.T. A graduate of Morton College HVAC, Morton High School 1972 and St. Hugh Grammar School 1968.
