It is with great sadness that the family of Cathy Morgenthaler announces her passing after a short and courageous journey with cancer, on August 19, 2017, at the age of 62 years. 

Cathy is survived by her husband, Phil; children Sandra (Dave) Chaplin, Stephen, Eddie, Leslie, Karl and Aleene; grandchildren Eleanore and Edward Chaplin; sister Kim (Bob) McCord; nieces, Shannon Goulding, Marie and Grace Morgenthaler; nephew Dan Salvo and mother, Kathleen Stonis.  Cathy is preceded in death by her father Ralph Stonis.

She leaves us having lived a life fueled by boundless energy and service to others in every role she filled – wife, mother, grandma, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, daughter and friend.  May we think of her and be reminded of the smiles and laughter she spread.  Let these memories propel you to love, laugh, be crafty and eat lots of sweets.
