Peter Nicholas Svarkonis, was born on May 2, 1954 and passed away on March 29, 2023 at the age of 68. He is survived by his daughter, Alicia (Phil) Saso, his grandchildren, Sophia and Sienna, his sister, Betty, his nephew, Christopher, his ex-wife Kathy, as well as many loving cousins and loyal friends. He was predeceased by his wife Tish Svarkonis.
Peter was a graduate of Morton West High School and was a lifelong resident of the Chicago area. He enjoyed playing golf and baseball in his earlier days and was still an avid sports fan, pool player and a big Guns 'N Rose's fan.
Peter, or "Pete the Greek", a nickname given by his friends, will be remembered as a genuinely nice, kind hearted guy who could always make someone laugh.
His daughter Alicia will always remember the fun days as a child with him playing miniature golf and bowling, visiting many local parks, investing many hours of non-stop Nintendo playing, learning how to play Rummy 500, doing at-home scavenger hunts and so much more. As an adult, Alicia cherished the time her dad spent with her and his grandchildren, Sophia and Sienna.
Peter meant so much to all of his friends and family and will be deeply missed by all.
