Paul Shurchay, 66, passed away Saturday March 20, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born November 4, 1954 in Chicago, IL, Son of Paul Sr. and Angeline (Pignato) Shurchay. Paul was a mechanic all his life and in 2004 he was hired at the United States Postal Service as the manager of vehicle maintenance for 17 years. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, camping but most of all he enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Paul is survived by his wife of 46 yrs, Pamela, his mother Angeline, 2 daughters, Candice Novotny, Sheree Shurchay, 1 son, Charles (Mel), 9 grandchildren, Bryan, Brenden, Leanna, Ian, Issac, Kenny, Keegan, Landon, and Lily. 1 great granddaughter Charlotte and 2 sisters, Paulette Kafka (Guy) and Anna Marie Shurchay. Paul is preceded in death by his father. Family will be receiving guests Friday March 26th, from 3pm until time of service 5pm at Dieterle Memorial Home 1120 S. Broadway, Montgomery, IL.
